We do not collect payment information directly — any payment processing is handled by third-party providers subject to their own privacy policies.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data. This information is used to maintain and improve the Platform and is not used to identify you personally without additional information.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign in using a third-party OAuth provider (such as Google), we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password or payment details from these providers.

2.4 Content You Submit

If you are an approved contributor, we store the content you create on the Platform, including event listings, venue profiles, service listings, and news articles. This content may include your name as the author, contact details you choose to publish, and any images you upload.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Account Management: to create and manage your account, verify your identity, and maintain your session.
• Registration & Approval: to process your contributor application, verify your email address, and communicate the outcome of your application.
• Platform Operations: to display content you create, enable other users to discover events, venues, and services, and to maintain the integrity of the Platform.
• Communications: to respond to your enquiries, send you service-related notifications (such as approval or rejection of your application), and provide important updates about the Platform.
• Analytics & Improvement: to understand how the Platform is used, identify technical issues, and improve our features and user experience.
• Legal Compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• Security: to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity on the Platform.

• City Admins: when you submit a registration application, the City Admin for your selected city will be able to see your name, email address, and requested role for the purpose of reviewing and approving your application.
• Service Providers: third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Platform, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
• Legal Authorities: where required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of KinkCity, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: in connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, in which case your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or marketing companies.

Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 2 years after account deletion. Application data (including rejected applications) is retained for 12 months. KinkCity is an 18+ platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We use a session-based age verification gate to prevent access by minors. The fact that you have confirmed your age is stored in a browser cookie for the duration of your browsing session.

We do not store or share your age confirmation data with third parties. We do not collect proof-of-age documents. The age gate is a declaration of consent and does not constitute a formal age verification system under any regulatory framework.
